It's a difficult situation for Stevie-me. He will very quickly alienate the squad if he keeps throwing them under buses. He really needs some relative success if he is to ever have a decent job in a higher standard of league.

His cache will evaporate pretty quickly once he fails up there. He's been given a fair bit of rope by the board but once he starts trying to blame them after bringing in a rake of new players in January he will be gone, with very few opportunities.

He'll be full-time on BT or BeIN soon enough.

Just about deserved I'd say. The chances were there for Rangers to have been ahead in that game before the last 10 minutes.

Still, it was St Mirren and they should be blown away. The table looks fairly decent for them at the minute though.

Well Rob deserved or not, the three points will do fine.Unlike Celtic Rangers are unbeaten in europe as well.Although, i wouldn't have mind if Rangers lost one game in europe, in exchange for beating Aberdeen in that league cup semi final.But all in all Rangers are a much better side this season.People talk about unreasonable expectations.But closing the gap on Celtic, and having a decent crack at winning the scottish cup, is not an unreasonable expectation.
