Press in Belfast saying they are re-signing Steven Davis from Southampton on loan in January.

He'd do a good job up there, although I am a little biased to the lad cause he grew up in the same neck of the woods as I did.

He was an excellent player for Rangers first time round. I just checked and he’s 33. I don’t know if he’s still the same player, but if he is, he would be a good signing, in my opinion.

Southampton would probably benefit from him being in their team at the moment TBF, a creative driving force from midfield who would certainly improve Rangers and be a good example to their younger squad members.

Big bad Stevie

That dressing room must despise him

I can’t stand Gerrard and I wouldn’t be surprised if the dressing room felt the same but I think that was probably fair enough there . It’s a tough question for any player especially with the manager next to him not least a player whose played about 10 minutes , doesn’t mean i necessarily it was a good soundbite in the first place .
