He thought he was gonna walk in, do what he wanted and stroll the lot.

Unlucky Stevie boy. Blert.

Like I said on here before, Connor. Scottish football might not be a great league, but there have been a few players, and managers, over the years who have came up here thinking they would stroll it, and left with their tails between their legs.

Indeed Spartak (who are the kopites of Russia btw) should have been beaten in Glasgow. As for last night crazy game, i think that goal being ruled offside was the decisive moment. There was bad defending from both sides!Oh well hopefully Rangers can win the final two games in the group, and then we'll see what happens.
Even getting this far was good, and we're not out yet

I reallly recommend the book Glasgow Rangers the journey. It covers Rangers period in the lower leagues, right up to getting promoted back to the top flight. There's some great pictures in it.Such as a game at some league two ground, where a tractor with a bale of hay in the back can be seen driving past the terrace. There's another great picture of some Rangers fans watching a game, from someones back yard.I think as a whole Rangers fans, did enjoy the journey through the lower leagues. It sort of galvanized the whole club and fanbase. But obviously it's a journey that Rangers fans, don't want to experience a second time round.Anyway it's a good book, and i think even non Rangers fans will enjoy it.

Did you go to any of these games in the lower leagues?

Happy enough, he makes mistakes but hes learning and the team are improving from last season

Despite some people pointing to Rangers points total, and claiming they're no better than Pedro's Rangers, I think anyone who is being honest would admit there's a definite improvement in Rangers, from last season. There's no way Pedro's Rangers would have gotten so far in Europe.

I do wonder if Mark Warburton is looking at the amount Gerrard has had to spend, and wonders what might have happened if he'd been given the same funds?

Warburton would definitely have been wanting a slice of the bread.

Warburton received a phone call from a friend on the Friday evening before a game, to tell him he had just heard on SSN that Warburton had resigned. Which was news to him.

One minute he had a job, the next scone.

it was really weird with him, he made some good young signings avoiding doing what mcoist etc had done by getting past it players and trying to build something and blitzed the championship. then it all sort of fell apart watching senderos look like he was running in quicksand in the premiership.
