RANGERS

I've been to Ibrox a few times. Reminds me of Goodison Park, but bigger and tidier. And with it's fair share of moaning bastards. The difference though, is that, there is way more of them moaning gits, and they moan their ass off when the team is winning. Makes for a cracking atmosphere mind.

Man Utd fans come with an arrogance of winning 20 league titles, Rangers fans come with an arrogance of winning 54.

They will not expect anything less than 2nd place and rightly so. After-all, they fill their 50,000 seater ground week in week out. So I wouldn't hold my breath with Steven Gerrard being given "time".

Hibs and Aberdeen are no pushovers. With two decent managers. It's certainly not going to be easy. Added to the very thought of Celtic going 10x title wins. He'll need to start winning, and quick.

It will also be interesting to see just how much transfer funds he'll get.

Except we would never sink low enough as a club to let a thug like Gerrard in our home dressing room. That shows you all you need to know about that club and ground.

Ibrox being bigger (10,000 more seats) is fact. Ibrox being tidier (what I meant by that, was no obstructed views unlike Goodison) is fact. Nothing I said was unreasonable.

Gerrard on the other-hand going to Rangers, that's another matter altogether, and has absolutely nothing to do with comparing stadiums.

Zombies are fictional, Paedophiles are real.

Why would they call him a "Fenian" ? he is not in the IRA and he doesn't sing songs glorifying the bombing and murder of innocent men, women and children

I suspect because he's a Catholic which seems to be enough for a section of Rangers support to associate them with an 18th century political movement originating in Ireland founded by Protestants. I'm not really sure what songs about glorifying bombing and murder have to do with anything, but they certainly have nothing to do with Steven Gerrard or the Fenian movement.

I look forward to Rangers fan's glorifying a cowardly thug with a GBH record though. There's certainly no moral high ground from what I can see, when you cheer on scum like that as your manager.

Our stadium has far more character though mate. It was once the best stadium in the world and at another time the best stadium in the country. I really like the location of Ibrox, which is beatific, but for me it's not a patch on Goodison Park. Celtic Park is the Goodison Park of Glasgow for me.

But no nothing you said was unreasonable mate, I just don't think their stadium is as good as ours. The fact they've got that score in the home dugout is now a major down negative, and several thousand imbeciles yelling his name will be highlight.

Ibrox is probably the easiest stadium to get to without a car in Europe. It's pure convenience and a breeze. Which I hope happens to our new stadium. Train - Subway - Stadium. Hardly any walking.

I would agree that Goodison has more "character" than Ibrox.

Celtic Park is a fantastic stadium. And in terms of Goodison of Glasgow, you're right in the sense of obstructed views. It has it's fair share too.

The best atmosphere I've ever been to is Celtic Park.

Yeah thank goodness Celtic have the moral high ground of a dressing room with Leigh Griffiths because I can’t think of anything controversial about him and at least Forrest’s public indecency was shelved hey ? Then I know Anthony Stokes has left but that lad was never ever in trouble and didn’t Celtic sign Ciftci just after he got a biting ban ? The Hibs mananager now Neil Lennon who was pretty successful there both on and off the pitch certainly caused the odd headline as well , I remember something about threats to put a knife to the throat of an woman he was having an affair with and he later publicly apologised .

I’m not wanting to get into whataboutery but let’s not pretend Gerrard is the only football person to rock up in Glasgow whose faced allegations in the passed . Micheal Ball, Gazza and Ferguson have sat in both goodison and Ibrox dressing rooms and have criminal convictions or faced serious allegations in the past .

i dont really buy into footballers need to be role models tbh, theyre paid athletes as long as theyre good at their job thats all im bothered about

loved the way the kit man looked at him.
If I was Gerrard I'd have punted that kit man about two minutes after leaving the dressing room. Called him into the office and had his gear waiting for him - including that picture of the Queen.

It was such an obvious snub.

Written by an imbecile who knows nothing. Anyone whose been to Ibrox and Goodison will note how similar they look. What the hell has that go to do with Liverpool?
an imbecile ? wow. just because your masked slipped in the post below doesnt give you the right to throw insults at evertonians.
When I lived in Liverpool, I despised them. When they were under Houllier and Benitez especially. But then I moved away, and was quite frankly amazed at how many people despise Liverpool as a city and scousers as a whole, mostly the ones who have NEVER been there (I'm talking about the South of England). So the way I look at it, any competition that Everton are not in, I do not begrudge them of success. Merseyside used to be the capital of football, now it's third to Manchester and London and has been for a while. I'm also disillusioned with our fans telling Sam to F*** OFF. What happened to the so called Peoples Club? Because many in our fanbase are certainly not acting like it.
