RANGERS

Seriously, you don't have a clue what you're talking about on this one. Your comment is very ill informed.
Not here to argue, but why did you think I’m ill informed. Celtic and Rangers have more in common that people realise. They feed off each other, and keep the hate going. They need each other and they are what they are because of each other.

By your own admission, after Rangers fans ran riot against Villa, you said lesson learned, never invite Rangers or Celtic for a friendly game. What have Celtic supporters ever done for you to decide they shouldn't be invited to Birmingham? The one time Celtic played in the city, their fans were attacked by Birmingham City casuals as they drank in a pub.

On an Everton forum, I don't want to go into the history of why there's a difference between supporters of both clubs, but I think it's fair to say that Celtic supporters shouldn't be held accountable when Rangers fans act badly. Although every club has it's share of morons, I think you'll find Celtic fans are far more welcome almost anywhere, than Rangers fans are.

Rangers fans ran riot in Brum that day, but two years later you did the same thing at Burnley. Sunderland last year ? You’re no better , but that’s just my opinion.

Sunderland? When a few young boys went up to challenge Tommy Robinson, and walked straight into a trap, and the Sunderland fan attacked a pub full of Celtic fans? The boys shouldn't have gone to disrupt Robinson, it was exactly what he was looking for, but there were video's of the Sunderland fans outside a pub full of Celtic supporters, and they were lobbing bottles at the pub.

I certainly wouldn't hold all of the Sunderland support responsible for the attack on the pub, but it's even more harsh blaming Celtic fans for it.

When Celtic go down South to play, there are scores of English hooligans, you know the old right wing/National Front/Loyalist etc types, who leap into action whenever Celtic are in town. There was even a guy from Wigan arrested at the Celtic v Airdrie game on Saturday. Wigan!!!

Like I said, you're ill informed, and are simply using a lazy "one lot are as bad as the other" comparison. Would you feel I was correct if I said Villa fans were as bad as Birmingham? What if on an Everton forum I said Everton fans were as bad as Liverpool, and they deserved to be banned from Europe? Would that be valid, or a lazy opinion, formed without knowing many, if any, actual facts?

Obviously Celtic like any other club has supporters who misbehave, and embarrass the club, but I reckon if you went to almost any game in England you would find some kind of trouble goes down. I remember a guy was on Talk Sport, and he's a Villa fan, but lives in London. He came up to Villa Park for the game, and when he got back to his car it had been vandalised, I think it may have been set on fire, due to it having the stickers from a London company on the window.

So I think we've all learned a valuable lesson here. Never travel to see Villa play, as you're likely to have your car set on fire, or at the very least vandalised.

Ok but you choose to ignore Burnley two years after rangers at Villa Park. I agree with you about people wanting a pop at Celtic in this country. It would be the same if rangers went and played a game in Ireland. Going off what Sunderland fans were saying, your fans were acting up too. I’m not saying all Celtic are bad, but you have a very sizeable group within your support like rangers who are shall we say not the most pleasant people. My advice to anyone regarding villa, is just don’t go at all, we are terrible to watch. I’m getting your point mate, but you’re a Celtic fan. A rangers fan would be biased towards his fanbase.

Of course he would, same as a Villa fan would be biased in favour of Villa.

As for the trouble at Burnley, and other games, do you seriously think the Burnley fans just went to the game to watch the game, but were attacked by Celtic fans?

Before the Eastern Europeans took hooliganism to a new level, which country would you say would have been regarded the worst in Europe for hooliganism? I reckon England would have been pretty high up the list. Much, much, higher than Scotland for sure.

I'll introduce William Winstanley as exhibit A. Who is William Winstanley I can hear you ask. "William Winstanley, 23, from Wigan, is accused of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner at Kent Street and shouting, swearing and gesticulating at other supporters. He is also charged with being in possession of cocaine."

This was at the Celtic - Airdrie game on Saturday. Every time Celtic play against Rangers, or any English clubs, they get ICF type thugs coming up, snorting the old Peruvian marching powder, and looking to beat up Celtic supporters. Rangers, Hearts, and now Airdrie fans have had links with Tommy Robinson. This should tell you all you need to know.

Anyway, I'll see your Sunderland, and raise you a Manchester 2008. Good luck digging up a comparison with that. :)

This stinks of “poor old Celtic” everyone wants a pop at us and it’s not our fault. Playing the victims. No doubt the Celtic fans were singing their anti British songs?

Oh no! Those horrible Celtic fans singing songs about a nation that has invaded 90% of the worlds countries. Whatever shall we do?

So, to sum up, when supporters come up from England to attack Celtic fans, it's a case of "“poor old Celtic” everyone wants a pop at us and it’s not our fault" but when Celtic fans go down South, and there's trouble, it's all the fault of those big bad Celtic fans? A more cynical guy than me could get the impression you're employing some double standards here.

P.S. How are you coming along with your comparison for Manchester 2008? I'm sure you'll understand if I don't hold my breath while I wait for you to come up with something?

You’re not getting it. No agenda against Celtic here. I’ve said rangers are as bad, and I know what that lot sing about too. You’ve taken offence because I’ve described BOTH clubs as bad as each other. You’re making out everyone has it in for you and you’re mainly innocent. Maybe if you stopped singing pro IRA songs that get out on social media and YouTube then you wouldn’t have idiots from this country wanting a pop. Maybe if the idiots from England realised why the catholic’s were so angry, they would think about having a pop. Honestly no agenda from me here, just saying both clubs have a big following of idiots.

They sing pro IRA and anti English songs and wonder why we hate them. Not rocket science is it.
