I'm not the one trying to silence an MP. I do not believe she's said anything remotely wrong. In Parliament.

Could be argued to be using a clumsy turn of phrase, but wanting to discuss asylum housing policy is no bad thing.

Flip it around and I can't imagine it's great for the asylum seekers. Quite whether the Tamworth residents would view it thst way, I'm not sure.

Honestly the country has gone.there is shootings in Liverpool every week.. women sexual asulted weekly it's been going on for years it's just a spill over from that ..watch people on tv with opinions who live probably in the countryside saying arrest everyone ye great problem not solved... society needs a reset because it's horrible in our cities ..lack of investment to start with

Closer to home, we see it with regard to Everton all the time. Difficult topics get ignored or brushed under the carpet because some people don't want to hear "negative" things

Or they don't like to hear it being expressed

"Have a day off" etc and now look at the state of us

Sometimes we need to let people just express themselves. Particularly MPs that have literally just been reelected

I see people falling into the usual traps and people going off to their corners/camps

When government needs to be thinking how did this happen and how to address the causes?

You don't get that trying to silence people or dictating how they say things. Especially an MP in Parliament

Which is manna from heaven for Tommy Robinson and his mob. They dine out on that kind of thing all the time. Claiming people are ignored and have no voice etc etc etc

Well I think her whole approach there was a pigs ear. I think she's thrown in wanting the hotel back to appease the locals before focusing on something much more sensible.

I'd be amazed if the Tamworth locals would be happy to find asylum seekers are no longer on the hotel, but next door. Haters gon hate yo.

But hey, she can deal with that one 😆

But immigration hasn't been brushed under the carpet. It's mostly all I've heard from 14 years of Tory government to the point were they're coming out with slogans. The mainstream media have been ramming it down our throats for years. It's very difficult for anybody to have a rational discussion about immigration because it has been completely hijacked by the right wing and used as a weapon to divide.

I'm not sure I understand your point about not dictating what MP's say or how they say it. What about Farage inciting riots currently? He's an MP. Braverman's populist rhetoric. Johnson lying to parliament. We absolutely must hold these people to account.
