Down Old Market today in Bristol, only the law advice place still boarded up, unsure of reason.

Spoke to several nationalities over the past week who were pretty sanguine about it and said there were idiots everywhere.

I just think it has been hugely embarrassing for our country and hopefully any nonchalance people have about the far right here has been extinguishised because the prejudice is always lurking waiting for it's not chance.

I think this whole thing has been a massive far right own goal personally.

I think many of us would agree with saying that regimes that benefit the most from driving Islamophobia are those that see it as a tool for consolidating internal power, distracting from other issues, or gaining leverage in international relations. Russia's role in destabilising the West fits into this pattern and is well documented, as does the behaviour of certain far-right populist and authoritarian regimes that use Islamophobia to their advantage. This current Israeli regime and their backers clearly having a vested interest in this.

May have gotten myself banned from that cryarsing "save are kids UK" or whatever group I've been snooping on.
I've seen a few of my 'friends' sadly reposting nonsense from it, so decided to have a nose around over the past few days and try my hand at a bit of fact checking. I haven't been received well so far

I saw a thread about todays stabbings in Leicester Sq and they were literally foaming at the mouth at the prospect of it being an immigrant attacker, only for it to be a white fella being led off by police and to top it all, a local Muslim man jumped in to defend the woman and the kid - their disappointment was NOTICABLE.

"Fair play to him ,but he is the minority, more of """THEM"""" (my emphasis) need to do more."

and;

"I guess they'll blame this on the far right as well?"

And of course;

"Another one who'll blame 'mental health"

I've learned in my time snooping, that the ones taking part in these protests are nothing more than a bunch of pathetic cry-arses looking to blame anyone but themselves for their own actions.

"I just want my country to be safe, that doesn't make me far right" followed by "We should ban any lefty traitors from this group"
Tons of angry ranting about Kier Starmer and the old classics blaming WOKE lefties and "The alphabet people" for being against them.

I added this to the Leicester Square stabbing thread on there to see if any have even a modicum of self awareness left...

Mad how this is supposed to be a group concerned with "our grand-children's future" yet not one of you have shown ANY concern for the welfare of the kid and women who were attacked today. Just another thread of self pity, angry speculation and barely concealed contempt for the Muslim man that may have saved their lives.

Probably need to get my coat after that one
