That's a grim number of people saying yes.
I've seen so many right-wing loons on X suggest that it's fake news because a Muslim fella reportedly stepped in to try and prevent the attack...Another child stabbed today in London ….. in broad daylight in busy Leicester Square….. wonder why nobody has commented about it on social media and why people aren’t out defending our children and making the streets safe ???
Yes very. Not sure what kind of sample was taken for that thoughThat's a grim number of people saying yes.
A non- Workingmens Club in StokeYes very. Not sure what kind of sample was taken for that though
1200 + people not really a lot still a bit shocking people think violence is the answer .Yes very. Not sure what kind of sample was taken for that though
We asked 1700 people in Tamworth / Burnley / MiddlesbroughThat's a grim number of people saying yes.
I'd like to know how many arrested are actually members or associated with far right groups.I know more than most that people make mistakes and I appreciate a couple of the rioters haven’t really been in trouble before but when you look at the sentencing most of them are hardly what you’d call paragons of virtue . Two of them up this morning had nearly 100 convictions between them including sexual assault .
There is a real madness to these belters pontificating about protecting society and specifically women and children .
I don't agree with everything she says but she's spot on here
Some prosperous rural towns maintain traditions and customs that are often absent in deindustrialized areas that have been left behind. You'll be lucky to find a open independent shop in some northern towns.Partially, though she is betraying a bit of ignorance of what life is like outside of London - a lot of the local things she claims no longer exist do actually exist (and have the effect she wants to have) in many places.

The EDL appears to have fractured into different factions, so banning it would have little effect.I'd like to know how many arrested are actually members or associated with far right groups.
IMO the vast majority of them will be scallies taking an opportunity to cause mayhem without a clue about far right politics.
That would underline the cynicism of the recent mass arrests. There's been an attempt here, I would venture, to decouple the scallies from the hard core of hardened racist street gangs, the short lived unity of which had the coppers and politicians concerned.
The more difficult thing but more effective thing to do would have been to have outlawed the EDL after the Southport riot and rounded up all its leaders in the aftermath in the coming days of riots.
This government dont have the stomach for that though. That's why, for all the grandstanding of the politicians and coppers and their 'law and order' solution it was down to the trade unions and left wing anti-racist organisations to swamp the streets and get the far right to stand down. But the far right will be back and the left - under attack from 'Labour' - will eventually be weakened to a point when it cant operate.
