What is the point of knowing Trigonometry when its never used in everyday life?!

depends what you do for a living, engineers , planners, draughtsmen etc use it all the time, i used it every day when cnc programming and machining.

There's been a job near me advertised for about 3 years for CNC operator and I always wondered what it was.

Please tell me. Purlease.

Its either a really really really crap job or you have to be really really really clever to do considering its been advertised for 3 years.

Computer Numerical Control

it's what computerised lathes,milling machines etc are controlled by, i used to do the programming. also using cad/cam (computer aided design/ manufacture).
the job will have been advertised for that long 'cos they will be paying peanuts, which is why i dont do it anymore

Posted via Mobile Device Low confidence/insecure by nature, wanting to 'belong'/feel 'wanted', being part of something that takes their minds of their own futile existence, an escape from 'nothingness. Or maybe just apathy, no purpose etc. Ps. Cant get into a 'deep and meaningfull' with you Suits, doing this from a mobile, cumbersome as [Poor language removed] and i'm not the fastest texter.
