Good performance I guess. My stream was choppy what I saw looked good. If Sterling is going to play like an out and out center forward than Rashford or Vardy should play

I missed most of the game due to alcohol abuse b ut I'm made up England are through to the semis. I'm wondering how often two teams from the same Group have made it to the WC SFs?. Yeah that's why I don't quite hate England as much now - the automatic picks of the top four clubs regardless of form and character has been somewhat left behind.

Pickford starting over Hart (and indeed Hart being left out of the squad) was a sign that things had changed. Granted, you still have bells like Lingard and Sterling stinking the gaff out and the media/fans are as atrocious as ever, but that actual squad deserve the success they're getting through hard work instead of being a faux 'golden generation'.

Well done England deserved it over the 90. Sweden were disappointing but still created enough chances to cause a lot of concern for Southgate going forward, especially if Croatia meet them next. Pickford again outstanding but can't keep bailing England out continuously.

The centre of midfield would worry me.
