Mad that Englands best players on the ball are a keeper, RB, striker and CB. Sterling, Hendo and ALLi really need to tighten up there sloppiness against the croats

Loving this world cup. Has a lovely Tottenham vibe to it.

I recall Mexico '86 and Everton having 4 players in the starting line up...I loved that World Cup (but recall feeling devastated after Diego's 'the hand of God' gig) ...so I know how you're feeling.
As an interesting peripheral; after that game, in the kitchen at a party in Shepherd's Bush, I spent quality 'class A' time with one Robert Smith (who happened to head one of my all time favourite bands)
