I think Moyes might be planning to ship JH out and bring in a younger player ( Dann? ) at similar cost but lower wage.

In fairness, if JH isnt looking likely to sign a new deal then it would make a lot of sense in the mid to long term. We don't actually have any centre halves between the Duffy age group and the Jags/JH 30 year old or so group.

we have hibbert and duffy as cover for centre back plus lots of better and younger centre backs out there for 5 million shawcross aty stoke for one would be an option
