I can't get excited about managerial or backroom appointments anymore. Walsh, Koeman, Martinez. We thought they were going to do great things. Turned out they were misfits and out of depth at times. If Brands comes in, fine. I won't be up or down on him until he starts doing things for better or worse. Only thing I'll be actually excited about is Walsh no longer being in charge of our dealings.

You would think this would also signal a massive shift in terms of players we sought in terms of transfers, meaning we would possibly see mostly players from Europe and Beyond rather than us sucking up the tosh everybody else has finished with in the league.

I honestly just want to see us back on an upwards curve. Even just a bit of hope would be better than the years we’ve endured of one embarrassment after another.
