Looks like West Ham will have a more proven manager than Arsenal or Everton this coming season. I think the world has been flipped on its head, must be armageddon!

The whole proven manager things is just confusing. This is going to be a head coach. They just need to be able to manage people and tactics. This doesn't need to be some high priced, high level manager. Just want someone innovative and smart. Doesn't need to be someone crazy like Ancelotti.

Van Gaal - track record, but proven at alienating the fanbase. Surely we need to step away from that now?
Ancelotti - he's a top table manager. Wouldn't even entertain an Everton. Will want millions and a squad packed full of motivated internationals
Pellegrini - yeah. Can see that, did well under similar circumstances at Villareal. Can he be bothered these days?
Wenger - won't manage in the Premier league again
Rafael - would split the fanbase something chronic. Would need immediate and continued success to get everyone onside. FACT.

Talking to Utd fans when he was there, it was pretty similar to us and Allardyce. Bored out their minds and couldn't see it continuing. Yes he won something , but nowhere near good enough for Utd.

Man Utd, Barcelona, Ajax (to a lesser extent) - he holds the fans of clubs with the same contempt that we have just witnessed for the past 6 months. He may have won trophies, but the club needs unity more than anything else in the immediacy.

Yeah, exactly my point, look at our record over the last 20 years compared to theres, of course it wasnt good enough for United, but it would still be miles better then anything we have seen, put it this way some of our fans our impressed with Hull's football from 2 seasons ago, much rather have poor United form then good Hull City form.

Couldn't give a crap if the fan base hated Fat sam and his personality if it meant he was winning trophies and games (He didn't like, but you get my point)

Most people don't like Mourinho, but they accept him because he wins stuff. It's about time the fan base stops being so precious and small time and goes for the best the club can get no matter what about the past or their personality.
