just play bare minumum league games

obviously play carabo final but stop fa cup now IMO

Definitely less of a problem, but still too many variables for me
 
Numbers are rocketing here too, the virus doesn't care about UEFA, it will spread regardless of their timetable. Travel into Europe is senseless too.

With Villa and Liverpool now at risk of cancellation and Boro having the new strain rip through their entire squad, adding to the already expanding list of Covid problems, Fulham midfielder Kevin McDonald is the latest to speak out saying football needs to stop now. How many more squad's training grounds have to close and how many more footballers become infected?

While McDonald is a nobody and hardly going to be listened to it doesn't change the deteriorating situation which is only in danger of escalating further.
 
Seems this is starting to get out of hand, secure bubbles is why the top level is continuing but it's impossible to maintain in this environment. They may have to think again on the advisability of such a high profile sport continuing.

yep - burnley seem burst now as well, with immediate fixtures under threat.

If I was betting, I would certainly be putting my money on the season not finishing as scheduled now

Just stop the bus now. It’s getting ridiculous 1300+ deaths today. In some parts of London they reckon 1 in 20 have the virus.

Need a pause of about 2 months till we get this thing under control.

footie (even though I love it) surely now needs to be stopped.

To be fair this soulless post Covid charade is not football by any stretch of the imagination.

I’m torn now Mitzi, completely see the arguement that there are way more important things going on, but this isn’t in anyway contributing to the deaths & there is a fair arguement that it’s helping in terms of mental health, helping with boredom & keeping people in doors etc

For the record - my opinion is solely continuing due to cash and will be forced to stop soon
