Everton away from home would make being on eccies boring
Everton at home are generally pretty boss
We need some more players, but not every issue will be solved by new signings.
Oh give it a rest Ian.last season, in our 36th league game we were hammered by a now relegated Sunderland side and stuck in 13th (thirteenth) place. Today (38 games later) we were abysmal and have already secured European football.
Job well done, onwards and upwards.
Most issues can be solved by new signings. If we dont have a good summer this time we won't recover for a while.
NoOh give it a rest Ian.
Real progress in a p...poor league
Let's be honest if we didn't do better (progress)than last season we would be close to the drop
You dont need me to tell you that it's hardly a massive leap forward going from midtable and decent cups runs to 7th and the season effectively ending in early January.Compared to last two seasons this is progress. Que Dave to tell us otherwise![]()
It's nothing. The best bit of progress has been that we are no longer crapping ourselves when we are ahead in games about the inevitable collapse that happened under the previous regime.
We have backbone and resilience again and we are no longer the soft pushovers that we had become when defending was abandoned by the previous manager.
Its something to build on in the coming seasons but it should have never been allowed to happen in the first place.

We're on 50 odd points mate. That a Moyes season...an average one.
It's nothing.
7th is nothing.
