Tubey, there is an emotional view and a legal view, you are currently going with the emotional view. This happened twenty years ago and even in the pictures, real or faked, it didn’t look like someone being ‘trafficked’. There are many women for whom this is real, but why are you so certain that this is so in this case....If she came to the U.K. and said she was raped by Prince Andrew the Met would be all over this.....
What an utter scumbag thing to say. I think every single post you've ever made has made me a feel a little bit sick, but this is really quite special. She can't have been raped because she was smiling on a photo, and even if she was it's 20 years ago so who cares. You're an awful human being, I hope you know that.

Historic allegations of rape against powerful men are always so easy to prove...

Point taken, but do we simply just give up ? I know the Law can sometimes be an ass but it’s all we’ve got.....

I agree with that, at least. However, I think in this case the law is something of an ass. Because there is no way anybody in the Polis or CPS is going to take a 12 bore to their toes by going after the head of state's son in a he said/she said case with circumstantial evidence and one of the only witnesses dead.

So let's just enjoy the sight of him looking incredibly shifty on TV, coming up with increasingly ludicrous explanations and draw our own conclusions. I'm not going to lose too much sleep over the already tarnished reputation of billionaire playboy Andrew Duke of York.

Indeed....

Put behind bars - agree.

But I don’t see why you need overwhelming evidence to think badly of someone. Andrew’s own behaviour and comments, even with the most generous interpretation of them, are gross.

At least he could have offered some empathy to the victims, surely being a father of two daughters he would have some understanding... Being a father myself to a daughter has certainly been an eye opener on a young female perspective... Yet this character, spins a yarn of the poor little Prince. He described Epstein as a not "very becoming". Dear me!

A Marina Hyde article from a few months ago said it best for me (edited for conciseness):

(The stories) suggest the kind of man – and we’ve all met them – who has a two-tier view of the female sex. There is a world for their daughters, hopefully insulated from men like their friend Jeffrey, and then there is another world for the girls who service their friend Jeffrey.
...
They are all daughters, too, your Royal Highness. The Russian masseuse on your feet, the 17-year-old runaway on whose bare hip you have your hand in that fateful picture in London, the terrified 14-year-old who ran screaming from your great friend’s house in her underwear, who you must have read about at the time, because I did, and I didn’t even know the guy. And all the others. They are each someone’s daughter, or they were once. They all once played at princesses and castles and imagined their own fairytale weddings. Funny how dreams die, isn’t it – and who helps to crush them.

I think you'll find that being Prince Andrew trumps any and all associations with the Freemasons, Police and Judiciary when it comes to getting a free pass for life.
Fair point mate, but I think HRH will be inextricably linked with all three institutions and that the Palace will frantically be trying to pull strings as we speak.
