Prepare for the incoming bad press...

I thought the atmosphere in the Gwladys St was decent yesterday...went a bit flat at 3-1 but that's normal. There was the odd attention-seeking bell shouting 'come on City' but they were quickly shouted down by everyone around them...it nearly kicked off a few times because of it actually!

I think the crowds reaction to Dzeko's timewasting is the clear indicator that most wanted Everton to win

It's a fan blog mate. However, I thought it was beautiful. The last sentence really sums up the hypocricy of the beauts: "It’s not very often you see unhappy Reds supporters on a day when both Manchester United and Everton lose, but this was one of those days."
Hahahaha, the irony of that comment given the context was patently lost on the poor little sausage

I very rarely watch the build up to matches on any channel because I couldn't care less what some idiot thinks about players playing at a level half of them never even reached but just watching todays offerings on Sky and it's ridiculous. Redknapp spent the first 5 minutes clutching at straws at how Cittee might still blow this. Why is this bias allowed to occur? Do Sky think we're all Liberpewl fans so we want to know about everything from their perspective? And that's without Carragher mentioning the derby every 5 minutes and referring every scenario back to Liberpewl.

I am a life long reds fan and Everton has always been my second team. I am reading these posts with a lot of disappointment.First of all let me say I felt the Everton team done their best and McCarthy and Barkley were excellent. My disappointment lies with the attitude of the Everton fans at the game and even more so in this forum. To me we are all scousers and have to put up with enough redicule and discrimination from the rest of the country. We have been an example to the rest of how we are a family community and how our people stick together.i cannot understand why Everton fans would want the title to go to the moneybags dominant clubs in Manchester and London rather than to Merseyside. I for one really wantef Everton to get champions league football and for our great city to be the hotbed of football again. Most Liverpool fans feel the same. This is a great opportunity lost and I have no doubt that if Everton had made Goodison the cauldron hostile arena it normally is, the playets would have responded and beaten City. Scouser till I die.

Spare us this garbage. It's not true and you're just looking for excuses. The atmosphere at the match was perfectly normal. Why should we go above and beyond our NORMAL atmosphere to help you win the league?

There is no 'US'. There never has been and never will be. I love it when yous get beat and you love it when we get beat. This 'We win the league and you get into the CL and we'll all be really happy with each other' is the biggest load of garbage ever. If it were the other way around, you certainly wouldn't all be saying that. You've done nothing but mock and patronise Evertonians for decades, why should we ever give a toss about you winning the league? We vividly remember the 2005 CL stuff, the idea of us actively wanting anything similar like that happening again is non-existent.

Stuff like Bishop posting pictures 'I'm an Evertonian today' yesterday:

Typical arrogant Kopite, taking the piss but expecting a favour in return too.

Why should we go out of our way to help you?

Anyway, we lost 3-2 in a narrow game to the probable league champions - who beat us 3-1 earlier in the season.

Maybe you should look at your own results:

Liverpool 0-2 Chelsea
Liverpool 0-1 Southampton
Hull 3-1 Liverpool
Man City 2-1 Liverpool

If you don't win the league, the 4 matches above are why. Not anything we did.

The Southampton and Hull defeats stand out like sore thumbs.

I've never once heard Martin Tyler criticize the atmosphere at the Emirates, and that place is actually dead most games.....yesterday's unwarranted comments showed how bitter he was that Liverpool might miss out on the title....

I don't know anyone from England, never mind Liverpool, who would say 'Everton has always' instead of 'Everton have always', more American than scouse I'd say.
On the subject of commentary, I watched in a pub here in boston so couldn't hear the commentary great but NBC had Arlow White (doesn't usually like us) and lee Dixon I think, they spent the whole game complementing the everton fans and team, they thought it was a tremendous game. The crowd were very loud on TV here. Someone with the know how should splice together a video of sky v NBC because I'd say they are very different!
That's the stream I had.
