Already 400 notes deep into a Season Ticket that can't be used, at least give us a code for home games

I'd pay for their 'Premflix' plan if it was reasonably priced and I could just buy a 'team pass' type thing for the season. On a match by match basis, no chance

I would not be surprised if this is a thing going forward, even when fans are allowed back.

Why not charge armchair viewers who are not in the stadium £15-£20, if you can get away with it.

Will be interesting to see what the take up is for these games.

I wouldn't dream of paying £15 to watch a match with a full stadium on tv, let alone during this weird atmospheric void period.

I haven’t got any issue paying to watch games. Like I said I allready spend hundreds of pounds a year.

My issue is with the price.

My mate in New York pays $10 a month for a subscription that allows him to watch ANY premier league game.

Why not offer us the same option?
You can’t compare different markets pricing though.

L1 clubs fans are paying £10 per game to watch on ifollow whilst there’s no fans allowed in. I think a tenner is probably the right price point tbh, with maybe an option to take every PPV game at a set monthly cost for those who’ve got used to watching every PL game played.

The thing is, a game is about half the length of a good film. Most films are about £5/£6 give or take these days for about 4 hours of entertainment.

You pay about £15 to get the film on dvd and can watch it over and over again for years. Films stay relevant for decades.

League matches like these are relevant for about a week until you're onto the next game. They're basically an episode in a large series.

You'd never ask anyone to pay £15 to watch one episode ffs.

I know people will say they're incomparable, but why? They're both entertainment. Football is so far from sporting anymore that i find it hard to label it sport instead of entertainment.

I'm amazed anyone actually still pays for SKY Sports or BT Sports.
Just get a decent IPTV provider and you get all the games and a whole lot more.
I think I pay £55 a year for mine and its bang on (I do have a VPN as well though).

My issue with IPTV or a dodgy box of some kind is they always seem a tale of woe. Got mates who bang on about how great they but whenever I’ve had them show me it’s either not working or the picture is crap. They tell me the old ‘it’s not usually like this and it’s sound every other time’. I mean I guess it might be it’s just I’ve never seen evidence of it myself.

I’d pay a tenner.

Just annoys me getting squeezed for an extra fiver.

Is it perfect? No of course it’s not. But in terms of value for money it’s unbeatable.
I get ALL of the SKY channels including movies. Also Racing TV & SKY Sports Racing which
for me is worth the subscription alone. I just checked and I pay £65 a year. Less than a monthly
subscription to SKY. As always it’s each to his own.
And I just remembered I get all of the big PPV boxing matches as well (when they are on)

IPTV providers went through a rough patch about 18 months ago when xtream codes got raided.

since then things have calmed down. The service I have been using for the last 12 months has been really good. I pay £50 a year for a massive selection of channels and all top quality HDwith no buffering.

I guess if you find a good provider your sorted but there are a lot of jarg ones out there as well.

Astonished to read people in this thread saying “why should we get them free of charge?”

Sky, BT and Amazon subscriptions aren’t free of charge. Neither is the BBC.

Every game was available at the end of last season, and that felt reasonable. The ‘product’ is diminished, and the £15 price is dripping with greed.

This is the thin end of the wedge this is a magical solution for the free market fanatics and the spiv culture inspired Thatcher and her ilk , wake up people you are being taken for a ride big time
