Actually, I have far too many memories of seeing us have the ball in the opponents third or even in the box and thinking "where the hell is Yakubu"...only to look back down the pitch and see him jogging along near the centre circle.

Moyes will never be prepared to just play a striker as a striker and, until that changes, we won't have a striker score more than 10 or 11 goals in a season. A far cry from the days of Sharpe and Lineker when 30 or 40 could be expected.

we should be getting more for fellaini than what lukaku's worth. I know he's going to be a cracking player, but felli is already in his prime and no way has lukaku done enough yet to justify a £25m value.

Dunno why people think Chelsea would get rid of Lukaku tbh. Abramovich bought a load of young potential stars and sent them on loan, Courtois, De Bruyne, Lukaku etc. Just because they're not playing for Chelsea now doesn't mean they won't be in the future.

And even if he isn't good enough for Chelsea, teams with more money than us will be in for him. He's going to be top drawer.

nah, i don't think they'd let him go either. he's their future 1st choice striker.
