The majority of that squad are proven cowards and need moving on.

Unfortunately, the damage done by Steve Walsh will take several years to rectify. Personally I find it hard to support Everton at the moment, as too many players wearing the shirt don't deserve support.

I saw enough during the summer to see we're on the right track now but, yeah, still years away from competing even for European places.

There is definitely a case to be made for a lack of character in some of our players. Its a huge contributor.

Who would you put under this bracket?

Since his injury Coleman hasnt been the same...i also dont think Walcott is at the same level as any of the players i listed.

If youre saying to replace players in "a year or two" then thats when their values will be lower...

Lets say, hypothetically we have £60-70mil as you wrote.

We sell Sigurdsson (£25mil), Walcott (£20mil) Schneiderlin (£15mil) giving us £120-130mil.

Neves (£50-60mil) Lozano (£40-50mil) and Zakaria (£30mil).

Transformation.

I'm happy to amuse.
Neves came to England to put himself in the shop window for CL clubs not Everton
Lozano wants Barca and Barca want him , plus Bayern are looking for 2 new wingers
Zakaria maybe

Dear Seamus was literally our best player last spring.

He's been up and down this season, then he gets hurt on international duty. Far too early to say he hasn't been the same, especially when he was just as good last season upon returning to full fitness.

the way I am looking at it is 9 of the 11 players that started are the same 9 players from last season and a lot of them are not good enough, have to give silva another 2 transfer windows to change it to his team. the best players so far this season have been Digne and Richarlson omitting the red card silliness of coarse. we are changing our style of play which won't happen overnight either but we have to get behind the manager and not be negative even though its not happening quick enough for us.

Was he?

He had a good game on his return, then???

He was very good for us last season, cementing the calls to be our new captain. We were terrible so it wasn't tough to be one of our best players, but he certainly looked like he came back every bit the player he was before the injury

Of course he did, hes had a few dodgy games this season and everybody is saying hes finished, its amazing how quickly everybody has turned, the less games people play, the better they become.

If the DM and the other 3 defenders had done their jobs properly then the first goal wouldn’t have gone in
If Pickford had not messed up and Zouma and Digne had shown Yarmelenko the outside onto his weaker right foot than the second goal may not have gone it
Holgate was made a fool of for the third
They scored with their 3 attempts w, we had 5 and scored 1

We've conceded 9 goals in 5 games and most of those games have been against pretty weak opposition.

You can look at any goal and claim it was someone's fault - there is usually a fall guy, or two - but there is clearly a slightly more troublesome elephant in the room, which is that Silva struggles to organise a defence.

We look shaky from set-pieces. We're starting games by playing a heavy pressing game and a high line of defence, which leaves us exposed.

I hope that when Mina comes in, things will improve, but there are definite hints of Bobby Martinez de-ja-vu.

To be honest, they were just examples...

Never know with Neves, perhaps Brands and Silva could sell the 'project' to him and maybe he wants to play for us.

Lozano i havent seen linked to barca or bayern. Perhaps brands could sway him

Zakaria could be interesting.

Either way, its an example of what we could do in recycling players

Opposition teams now come to Goodison with no fear.

This perception is reinforced in the first 15-20 minutes of the game, as we invariably start in a cautious and nervous manner.

Team's settle, and then go for us.

Things need to change.
