5 purely because we got Deulofeu.

Otherwise it would have been a 1 for Lennon. The bit that wound me up was that he could have just said we're looking at bringing in Lennon and a CB and saved everyone the time. I guess we always knew that was the most likely but he didn't need to feed the fume at the end.

Needed a playmaker and didn't get one. Lennon is ok and an option but Martinez doesn't play 2 wingers so now we have 4 Lennon del boy mirallas and mc Geady for 1 spot and I really don't get that. He will play naismith and osman and clev in that position as well so why didn't he sell mc Geady. 7 or 8 mill for naismith was nice money too and another 4/5 with that would have got austin who surely is a much better player.

Gave it a 4.

Deulofeu and Cleverley was an excellent start to the summer. My reasoning as to why its a 4 is our manager identified the positions he needed 4 weeks ago and was quoted as to saying he 'needs' them. Our club sat on its arse for over 2 months and did nothing about it and that is unacceptable. Then we hear the revelation that we could of actually signed yarmolenko had we got up off our arse a couple of weeks earlier was another sickening blow. Turning down 8 million pounds for Everton's most woeful player at the age of 29, when it seemed we couldn't give him away, turns this window into a bit of a mare. Signing yet another winger was just the icing on the cake really. Only at Everton F.C will you see 7 or 8 wingers, playing a formation that screams for you to play wingers, yet the club has so far not started a game with a single one.

We've become such a state that we can now even predict who the 3 signings would be (after being linked) and how deadline day would unfold. Rodriguez the day before and then Mori very early in the day to get us smiling and excited, then the predictable blockbuster jarg rumour, followed by very late (predicted back in May) signing to close the window. We are boring, lazy, predictable, skint and an utter state.

Actually after typing this and selecting a 4, i have changed my mind to a 3.

5/10
Held onto a few, didn't get rid of some we should have. Deu a great signing. Lennon and Clev good signings. The 2 south americans unknown...
Glaring omission the lack of a playmaker/ 10 which we have been crying out for for ages now. Teams will continue to park the bus when we're at home and we'll struggle like we did ALL LAST YEAR and to a certain extent the year before too.
I hope I'm wrong but I can't see us finishing within the top 6 with this team.

Voted 7 when considering we could be Arsenal which are the only team in Europe's top leagues not to sign an outfield player .

This window was a funny one with most teams not getting what they wanted all along. Us a playmaker . Arsenal a striker . Chelsea a CB. Spurs a striker. and in all honesty most teams have spent a load and look no better than they were (RS. Man Utd .Newcastle . ) City will run away with the league .

7/10. Kept Stones, McCarthy & Mirallas signed new deals. The signings we've made are solid signings that add to the squad. Happy with Lennon, Deulofeu & Cleverly looks a decent addition.

Shame we couldn't get a marque signing in to top it off.

Can't blame Martinez him and his scouts identify the players he wants then surely it's up to however is negotiating be it elstone ,kenwright or green .dependant on results from now to Christmas could cost Martinez his job
He had the whole summer to get a creative player. He has to shoulder the blame, it's even worse really that he had no plan B.

Disappointed we didn't get the playmaker but sometimes these things happen due to circumstances that are hard to control.
Yarmolenko was who we wanted but tricky deal.
Look at Chelsea one of the worlds richest clubs. Wanted a centre half bids for stones and marqhuinos yet ended up with a guy ffrom reading

Poor window I feel. We had months to get a playmaker/#10 in and the window closes and not a word about it again from the club or manager.

We held onto a player who put a transfer request in and people view that as a success? We signed January's loan player on a permanent deal despite having better options in the squad, a totally untested CB and a striker who nobody has even heard of.

The melts on twitter are already doing their "best" / "strongest" line ups based on the signings (Lennon, Mori or Rodriguez didn't feature in any!)

The team is basically the same as it has been for the past 3 seasons, we have only added squad filler. How this window rates higher than 3/10 is beyond me.

These windows annoy the life out of me. Never sign that player to take us up a level ( that we need) tomorrow Wel hear how Barca woudnt sell messi to us or juventus didnt want pogba joining us

You get my drift.
