Play maker, play maker, play maker.....Aaron Lennon.

Don't think Everton did enough. Holding onto Stones for me was only good if and its a big IF key positions were filled. They weren't and it's clear why, because we held onto stones.

Going to be a long season and don't be shocked to have a disgruntled front man in Rom asking to leave next summer.

Everton should have taken Moses on loan because at the end of the season he would be leading the exodus.

Went for a 3, we needed a big signing or two to state our intent as well as keeping Stones.

Compare our money spent to the rest of the league.

Not saying spend for the sake of it but we'll fall behind by standing still.

We must have the money available and if not then why not?
Cleverly,Deulofeu and Lennon for around £8.5 million represents excellent business,a number of boards around the country must be scratching their heads on that one,ok the jury will be out on the Argie lad at £9.5 million,I honestly think his top target was Yarmalenko and he wasn't going to settle for an inferior signing for the sake of it.

Good window for us...but not great.
Glad we didnt sell Stones now, Cant imagine us having an extra £38,000,000 would of grabbed us our playmaker...we seemingly only wanted The Y and that money wouldnt of helped broker the deal.

Really too early to say. I feel much depends on how the failure to sign a creative attacking player will affect the existing squad and their belief in Martinez' project. If Lukaku is feeling less impressed tonight knowing he'll have yet another season at Everton with insufficient service, I can hardly blame him. We do still have loads of quality in the squad, some astute business has been conducted this transfer window and no unwanted outgoings. With a playmaker coming in it had been a 9/10 easily. Now ... 5/10? We're moving to stand still.

Yeah a 3 is low I just feel we always miss out on the chance to kick on.

I still feel the side is unbalanced and the first team is a couple injuries away from looking very average.
