Seven.

Some very smart signings and no outgoings that we didn't want.
Yes

Could've been a hell of a lot worse if Stones had have left, could've been a hell of a lot better if we'd signed a creative attacking mid.

What we let go was Alcaraz and Distin so that's no loss, and the incomings aren't a joke. Thierry Henry said good things about Mori, while we know Lennon and Deulofeu can offer something. Cleverly is doing ok.

Voted 5 which might end up being 7 if some of the new guys wow me (not seen play so can't comment)
Should never of teased about a play maker.......

Went for a 3, we needed a big signing or two to state our intent as well as keeping Stones.

Compare our money spent to the rest of the league.

Not saying spend for the sake of it but we'll fall behind by standing still.

We must have the money available and if not then why not?

Our net spend, which is important to some posters, was around £20 million, more than quite a few in the Prem.

players replaced .....

deulofeu ..... bargain /awesome/classy/young ....... better than atsu
lennon ........lennon
hennan........hennan
mori ............young/winning mentality ............ better than alcaraz and an ageing distin ?
rodriguez ...... cheap /not much of a gamble ........... better than chris long ??
cleverley English international/young/free/a forward passer and a box to box/ can play multi positions .....a bonus player

so the squad is better .......if perhaps our best 11 isn't

would have been nice to get shot and get better than naismith kone and mcgeady too..... but hey ho ....atleast we know what needs doing in the next few windows.

a new playmaker and another keeper would have improved us to.

so ... I went for a 7 ..... could have been better , could have been worse

4 ex 10 as we desperately need someone to feed Rom properly. With proper service, he's easily 20+ PL goals a season
Stones is just putting off the inevitable big money move
Pleased with signing up some potentially exciting youngsters like Holgate so make that a 5 ex 10

6/10. can't say it was bad since we held onto stones and added a few pieces, including some potentially good players. but we didn't address the biggest issue, which was a need for a #10

Turns out Martinez is happy - http://www.evertonfc.com/news/2015/09/01/martinez-delighted-with-new-additions

"I feel really pleased about the way in which our business during this transfer window will allow us to carry on with the continuity in our squad and develop some of our young talent while adding some outstanding characters to the football club," Martinez told evertonfc.com. "Four full senior internationals for England, Argentina and Spain reflect the huge calibre of players we have been able to bring in, with some of those -Gerard Deulofeu and Aaron Lennon - already knowing our dressing room and our home.

"They represent a guarantee in terms of settling in well to our club and adding to our squad.

"Keeping the main performers of the team that attempted that fourth-place finish in the Premier League two seasons ago and shared in some incredible memories in Europe last season will help us to integrate all of our new signings and to carry on reaching better levels of performance on a consistent basis.

"Our Copa Libertadores winner, Ramiro Funes Mori, will add some qualities that are needed in the team, alongside the bright goalscoring talent thatLeandro Rodriguez will represent.

"On top of that, the window has been very positive for us in being able to bring in more exceptional young talent in the likes of Mason Holgate andDavid Henen, who represent a really exciting future, along with other talented players we're developing in our football club."
