I'm sure he's looking at the embarrassing infighting between the higher ups, the complete inability for them to sort the current manager situation out, the spineless squad, league position, december run of fixtures, seething fans and 25 years of obscurity and just licking his lips at the prospect

You might have something there.

Seriously? You don't think securing champions league football is top of the list of every top football team? It's what keeps them top football teams!

Real Madrid and Bayern Munich could have a dog managing them and they would still get into the Champions League. They want to win it not just take part.

I didn't say he didn't do a good job. He did manage to stumble on one of this eras top strikers of course which helps too. He has done well and is no doubt a good manager, he is still a risk for a big club though. Obviously something weird has gone on at Spurs too which cant be ignored.
Yeah Levy wouldn't back him and refresh that squad, or sell players who clearly wanted to leave.

Yeah weird one really why wouldn’t you offer your best players ageing or not at least a years extension? No wonder they didn’t want to know. Obviously it will be back to square one when the new manager bounce is gone

He a tight, that's why what Poch did was amazing if you ask me. If there was any tiny chance we can get him we should be all over it. But I think he beyond our level right now.

Yeah opportunities like this don’t come along that often so I would give him what he wants and get him the players he wants and sign him up because if he had the money that Koeman and silva have had we would be running the top 4 all the way that’s a certainty.

Another thing if our board were that hell bent on getting us back to where we were 30/35 years ago they would do everything within their power to please the fans by getting someone of this level in.

as has been mentioned earlier in the thread if you don’t ask you don’t get and if our project as they call it is as big and wonderful as they make out its a massive selling point to any manager. Get at poch now while his stock has fallen ever so slightly and show us fans they mean business.

going after the likes of Moyes and co isn’t the answer and is only going to make the fans turn on everyone at board level and it will make us like Newcastle with Ashley. I think Moshiri realises this and hasn’t just buckled under the pressure from Bill Kenwright and got Moyes in

Mourinho went to Spurs for 1 reason and it wasn’t they are in the CL it’s the 15 mil a year they are paying him. We aren't as bad as ppl make out.
Poch might come if we offer him enough money.
