So let me get this straight, a lot of their best players want out and already look to be going so Spurs sack the best manager they could realistically have and are now going to be worse of in terms of not only playing staff but managerial staff too? They sack the bloke who knew who the bad eggs are, was presumably going to get rid of them and also probably had some kind of idea of who to replace them with.

Maybe there is a reason Arsenal fans call them banter fc.

If it was just a straight sacking, then yeah it doesn’t make any sense.

There’s more to this though. Spurs know he’s one of the best managers in the world (believe there was something like 30million plus compensation for Spurs from any club who wanted to take him in the summer)...so they knew he was a huge asset. Four months later that huge asset has gone. Poch wasn’t happy...this looks more like a mutual decision.

Just switched channels at half time in the Wales match, can hardly believe what I’m seeing, has Levy lost the plot or what? He sacks Poch who is miles ahead of our manager, who our board are still thinking will turn us around. Good luck to Spurs finding a manager anywhere near as good as Poch. It’s London though, so they might.

He might do. José is a trophy collector, no question. Not sure he’s been to a club with Spurs’ profile since he emerged as a top coach. Given their current state of health it doesn’t seem a neat fit. Can José get hold of the chequebook? Not so sure.
