Dont know why everybody is shocked.

Spurs are a side that finishes in the top 4, they got smacked by Bayern 7-2, they havent won a game in 5 and they sit in 14th, its an easy sack.
Form is temporary though. Especially considering potch delivered a cl final and top 4 finish with no money to spend . Sign of a top manager that, very few could deliver to that extent. It's not like that spurs team is littered with world class players everywhere neither.

if you look at Spurs when he took over and what his accomplished whilst there you would have thought that they would have given him more slack that’s the surprising thing. I haven’t been following them but they seemed to be turning it around.

that’s why I think something had happened behind the scenes that forced Spurs’s hand here.

you honestly think you sack a manager who has taken them to the next level for 3 years straight and a UCL final after one poor start ?

Nah something went down here

They've been on a ridiculously inconsistent and poor run of form since about this time last year, bailed out by some sheer brilliance and quite a lot of luck (which is the sight of a good team, to be fair to them, but not what an actual class team should rely on).

Some have hinted at this happening last summer, but it didn't.

"What he has accomplished there" as a mentality got us stuck with David "Potato to a tank fight" Moyes for about 5 years too long, arguably, to get a chance at the 7th place trophy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
