Wasn't given any money to freshen up the squad for a couple of years because of the new stadium.....players like Eriksen haven't performed in far too long (wanted moves away)..... Poch has worked miracles as far as I'm concerned...


On a side note.... Worth noting how higher the standards of the Spurs board are now compared to ours..

Think having the same group of players for so long without really freshening it up has hurt. The players have been on auto pilot for a while. A new manager will come in and lift them players, the players will give that little bit extra. Reckon we'll see a sharp turnaround.
Worries me though, both Arsenal and Spurs had their hands tied regarding transfers because if the new stadium. Both had Champions League income and still struggle in the market. Our stadium will be fantastic, without a doubt. But at what price?

Feels like the type of situation we have gotten ourselves in to a fair few times. Ultimately the manager takes the hit because the squad is full of utter fannies who need to be told how great they are or they mope around the pitch putting in half arsed performances. Eriksen, Alli, Rose and Alderweireld have looked horrendous all season.
