So, his best finish was 10th in Spain and he get's a 5 year contract at one of biggest clubs in the UK....

Fair point but they have probably looked how good we are looking with Martinez as fairly similar. They have wasted many money on 'big' managers in the past.

I imagine it's a faux 5 years. There will be an annual option for Levy to cancel the contract...probably with a defined pay-out

I have a hunch this appointment might work. Southampton played a nice game under him. He seems ultra competitive with RM as well

Pochettino plays high pressing, energetic football. I doubt he has the squad at Tottenham to play his way.

Looks like Tottenham will be offloading 2-3 creative midfielders and bringing in a new back line.
