Howard
Oviedo - Hibbo* - Gibson - Garbutt
McGeady - Osman** - Pienaar
Kone - Niasse - McAleny

*would retain on emergency forms and put on coaching staff..
** might consider one year contract

The rest - no thanks, Stevie P was a fine player but time to go.

If Barry would stay, even on a player coach role then great! Top pro. Can teach the kids. Osman too should stay around. This is a big season coming up. We need old heads. Can't be like villa next season. Of course it won't happen, but still

I think it's a disgrace the way the players downed tools over the past few months. They basically just showed up against Chelsea and the second half against Man United in the FA cup.If they had any sense of professional pride in them then what happened at Anfield the King Power and at Sunderland the other night would not have happened.A lot of these players have failed to pass the test more often than not in the biggest of games going right back to the Moyes years. There's a lot of ruthless decisions to be made and a lot of deadwood to clear out of the squad. We need to get players who have that winning mentality into the club.Hopefully Joe Royle and David Unsworth will give a good few of the younger players a run out on Sunday.

I'd ship this lot out (past use by date):

Hibbert
Gibson
McGeady
Oviedo
Osman
Pienaar
Kone

Make some quality signings to replace the above, bring on some more of the promising youngsters and we've got the makings of a decent squad.

That will do for a start. Clubs very rarely get rid of or have to replace that many in one go, though we wouldn't be replacing McAleny as such as he's never made the first team. 8 out, probably 6 in to replace them.

Once the new signings have had a season to bed in id be looking at the likes of Oviedo, Cleverley, McCarthy and Niasse to see if they've proven themselves useful, if not they're the next ones to go. Oh and I wouldn't be remotely arsed if Lukaku left the way he's downed tools since the turn of the year.

Hibbo and Osman to retire and take up roles in the youth team coaching

Gibson, Kone, Niasse, Pienaar, McGeady, McAleny to be sold or released to free up some more wages. (Can't see anyone taking Niasse so maybe a loan back to Russia or a middle eastern team)

Ledson, Kenny, Garbutt, Pennington, Holgate
to go out on the next stage of loans preferable to League 1 and Championship teams, id be tempted to keep Garbutt around and see how he performs without injuries and more settled to compete with Baines and Oviedo but i think he realistically needs a proper season on loan, said all along Fulham was a bad choice as they couldn't defend under the previous manager who was poor with youth and ended up getting sacked as expected, never really recovered after that.

Davies, Williams, Connolly, Walsh, Henen and a few other young lads to get out there and experience some professional football during the season, most of them likely to still be at League 2 considering Walsh was in a relegation scrap for Yeovil.

Big overhaul but its honestly needed for the young lads and the 1st team squad, with some good financial backing hopefully be able to fill out the 1st team a little bit with whoever the new manager wants to bring in.

Not a chance Walsh will go back to div 2 totally bossed most games.
Will Defo be at a higher level next season. There were a few rumours of championship teams watching him at Yeovil. Davies also is probably ready for a higher level. And connoly had a short spell at Barnsley div 1 in March.

But if I had to nominate one stalwart of the Martinez era to follow him out the door, then it would be McCarthy.

He has really gone backwards this past two seasons IMO.

Don't get all the hate for McCarthy. The only one who hasn't gone backwards over the past 2 seasons is rom

McCarthy is a defensive player. Give him a chance with a manager who understands the defensive side of the game

Can Go For A Decent Offer - McCarthy, Cleverley, Mirallas, Joel, Lennon

Get Straight In The Bin - McGeady, Kone, Oviedo, Niasse

And there is not one player out of contract I'd offer a new deal, even in non-playing roles. Let them all go onto new pastures.
