….maybe because he’s contracted here until the end of next season. Not sure of his salary but he might not be willing to take a pay cut with 18months to go.

That means we've gone from 4 non-league loanees to just 1 (Barnsley)
I'd be surprised personally. I think we all expect Welch and Campbell to go. OSS, Moonan and GGE are probably all needed just to make up a workable squad. It actually looks like a case of Everton having something of an plan in plac. Get these guys an early loan so that they have less to moan about in the 2nd half of the season when others need a loan.OSS will surely go back out and maybe time to push more u16s into the u18s and more u18s into the u21s to allow Moonan and Gospel- Eze to go out again , sitting on a bench is not doing them any good and both will need new clubs sometime in the future.
Great to see Heath amongst the goals, he'll have a decent careerRoman Dixon (and Tyler Onyango) still absent from the Stockport squad. They won 2-1 at Blackpool and are 4th.
Francis Okoronkwo started again for Doncaster and went off after 70 minutes with his side leading 3-0 at home to Orient. It finished that way and Doncaster go up to 21st.
90 minutes and a goal for Isaac Heath as Accrington beat Newport 4-1 away. Accrington up to 14th.
Will Tamen's Tranmere lost 1-0 at Barnet. He played the full match and seems to getting decent ratings despite Tranmere's recent losing streak. They are 17th.
If you look at the players you mention none of them have had careers which would ever justify multi million pound fees.I think we’d have got several millions from the likes of Dowell, Broadhead, Pennington, Garbutt, etc if we’d been a regular European team.
We’ve done well from the top ones but struggle around the ones who are good pros but not top, top ones
I’ll raise you Jordan IbeIf you look at the players you mention none of them have had careers which would ever justify multi million pound fees.
I think the reasoning behind spending more money on players from top six clubs is the belief these players are playing at a higher level and should do better when they move to a club at a lower level. As far as I can see it rarely works.
I think you need to look at the player and not the club.
Presuming this is a loan.
