Players out on loan 2025/26

Going out on loan here could be the making of him if he's regularly playing men's football. Time will tell but I think it's likely we'd sell in the summer for a small fee alongside some others to boost the transfer kitty
If Stockport goes up and they want him, we should be getting more than just small change. Certainly with a nice chunky sell on too

Might be nice! I find it difficult to valuate younger players unless they are breaking through into the first team. Sell on clauses etc are definitely the way forward.

I like to use the top team’s metrics…

An unused sub once in first team - £12m
A used sub in the first team once - £20m
A start in the first team once -£25m
Any more - £40m

I would say that's not too different for ourselves. Barkley was obviously a bit of a snake and then got injured, should have brought in at least 30-40 at the time for him. Rodwell was below 20 I think?

I think we’d have got several millions from the likes of Dowell, Broadhead, Pennington, Garbutt, etc if we’d been a regular European team.
We’ve done well from the top ones but struggle around the ones who are good pros but not top, top ones

Neither Tyler Onyango (injured) nor Roman Dixon were in the Stockport squad for today's 1-1 draw at Cardiff. Dixon is recovering from a long term injury and recently played just a half for our U23s so presumably Stockport are managing his return. They seem to play with a back 3 so Dixon could get some time at wing back. Stockport are 5th.

Francis Okoronkwo was back in the starting line-up for Doncaster at home to Wigan and he opened his account for his new club on 7 minutes. Doncaster were 3-1 up when he went off after 63 minutes but Wigan eventually completed their comeback to draw 3-3. Doncaster still in the drop zone in 22nd.

A full 90 minutes for Isaac Heath as Accrington drew 0-0 away to Walsall. Accrington are 16th.

Will Tamen also played the full match as Tranmere lost 4-2 at Cambridge. Tranmere are 17th.

George Finney played the whole game but his Ayr lost 2-1 at Partick. Ayr are 5th just outside the play offs.
