Plan moving forward, what would you do?

If he stays fit we'll a player with world class potential on our hands. If he doesn't, we won't suffer much because we already have two lads who do the job week in week out. I'd say the risk/reward scale tips for the reward side considering he can play on either fullback position.

It doesnt account for the fact that he's crap though.

I mean like Weah's cousin crap.

The only positive there is from us losing our manager is that he's left us a good foundation to work on. While picking the right coach should certainly be our no1 objective, the work we do in the transfer market is going to be evn more important. We now have the opportunity to improve on this foundation and build something special. This what I would do if I was running the club.

Out: Fellaini, Heitinga, Neville, Anichebe, Hibbert, Naismith
Out of those only Fellaini would be leaving for money making purposes the others would leave because they simply aren't going to take us forward. We could do a lot with the fellaini cash. The possibilities certainly outweigh his value to the team.

IN:
Mbokani: A great all round striker with the potential to shape our next 3 years. He's very good technically, has a lot of energy, and he scores goals. Finishes with either foot and a very capable in the air. Very good player that would do well if given the opportunity. I'm pretty sure he's anxious to prove himself at the top level.

Morrison: a United reject but one they should've never let go. Enough talent to take this team to the next level.with him and Barkley we'd have a nice foundation for a great team.

Fabio; lord knows where we'd be if either of our fullbacks got injured. He might be injury prone but he has a lot quality. Can play on either fullback position. In the summer he'll have one year left on his contract so we could get him on the cheap.

Jedinak; currently plays for crystal palace and since I've said we'd lose fellaini he'd b a great option to replace him with. He's big, strong and is a mmenace to opposition midfield.

Dos santos; he'd be our pienaar on the right hand side. Has obvious quality but has failed to make a big mark on football. If we could get the best out of him wre'd be on to a winner.

Kone: we're gonna need a centre back with distin being old and duffy being so inexpierenced. Was probably Burkina Fassos best player at the african cup of nations. Very good reading of play, good in the tackle, just an all round class centr half.

All these players we could get on the cheap. None of them would cost over 5 million pounds and they all have a huge upside. Exactly what this team needs to move forward.

FM Alert.

obviously we are playing a bit of Champ manager here, so here is my 10p.

Felli out for £25 million, I would love to keep him, but the £25mil could buy us (if put back into the team) three decent players.

Baines will be sold to united for 10-15 mil (this I do not want to happen, best LB in the country and the best we have had for a while, plus oviedo is a bit light wieght currently, and could not fill his shoes)

Hetinga 2-3 million- player of the season last year, shadow of the player this year, sell him while he still has value and top stop him from going the way of AVDM.

Neville-Free, love phil the skill, but I don't think he is management material, and we would be making the mistake we made with Dave watson if he is appointed.

so with the 10 million odd we will save on moyes wages and 30 of the 40 million we get in for the sale of Baines, felli and Johnny the thug we should strengthen the squad but we should also bring in quality.

Danny Rose-5-7 million- replacement for baines, quality going forward and not to bad in defense

Diame 3-4 million - strength going forward, good ball skills klnows where the goal is and a good replacement for felli (though I do wonder about his commitment to the cause)

Jordan Rhodes-10 million- proven goal scorer in the First and the championship as well as international, he is young and hungry and will score goals, 20-30 if given the supply.

Townsend- 10 million- speedy, good ball control passes well, crosses well and has a good finish, I think he might have a attitude problem but with the right manager he could be class

Shawcross-5million- distin is not getting any younger, Jags will stay as he is the captain, and Shawcross is one of the best english defenders in the prem, 26 years old so youth on his side and a intelligent defender. will also allow duffy to learn his trade, and to push through with someone like shawcross their to be the elder statesman as season go on.

Jemaine Jones 2-3million- he is at the older end of the spectrum, but is a class defensive midfielder, strong on the ball and knows how to pass the ball. a good player to have on your bench or to cover Gibbo when he eventually gets injured next season

Loan in Leonardo Bittencourt from Dortmund- quality attacking midfielder, who might get a chance now gotze is moving on, but is only 19, bring him in for a season give him 45 minutes when we need something different

Loan in John guidetti form Man City- class striker who will not get a game at Etihad next season, scored 20 goals 23 games for Feyenoord while on loan, would be a good option, as much as I respect Victor, i can never see the man scoring 20-30 goals a season, and Jelly is off the boil, I think we should stick with Jelly, but he needs stronger comp.

Offer a contract to koule toure he is 32, but he is a quality defender with allot of experience, and would be a good back up for Distin and Jags if we fail to buy a new defender in the window. He will be free, and with a guarantee of 10 games or so a season he would sign up I think.

The bottom line is we need to hang on to Mirallas out of all the salable players, he has only just come to us, and he is a class above, keep him for another season put his value up, and then sell him when we are getting 20-25 million offers for the guy. Please do not see this as me saying we are a feeder club, the problem we have is we do not have money being ploughed in with kentight in charge, so we need to maximise what we can get for the players we get in on the cheap. Mirallas has the ability to be a club legend, and from all the interviews I have read he is a well grounded and we should try and keep him and build on his ability and build around him.

I am not a Manager and I dont claim to be, For me I would like to see Everton continue to play football the way we have for the last couple of year (except for the games where we looked bored). The board should get the right gaffer in, and back him with transfer funds from the sale of players and money saved on Moyes is pay check.
