Plan moving forward, what would you do?

What i'd do is, sell Felli.

Use the 25 million to buy a shed load of coke from an Columbian druglord. Bash it up a bit, then knock it out all over the north west. Hopefully get a return of 70 - 80 million to spunk on new players.

Instead of a footy manager approach, im using the Scarface method instead.

This is the best idea ive heard in a long time.

how about laying that 80 million on 20-1 on pereira getting the managers job then hiring him.
this modern football finances lark is easy peasy

Out - Fellaini, Heitinga, Naismith
In - Lescott, Fer and one (maybe 2!) of Negredo/Soldado/Vossen/Pelle/Altidore/Chicarito
Hopefully we will get some of the TV cash to aid these signings and maybe add a couple more "squad" players

This was my favourite suggestion mate, buy injury prone players to cover players that might get injured, faultless logic.

It's up there with buying shorter players to compensate for the lack of height.

If he stays fit we'll a player with world class potential on our hands. If he doesn't, we won't suffer much because we already have two lads who do the job week in week out. I'd say the risk/reward scale tips for the reward side considering he can play on either fullback position.

The only positive there is from us losing our manager is that he's left us a good foundation to work on. While picking the right coach should certainly be our no1 objective, the work we do in the transfer market is going to be evn more important. We now have the opportunity to improve on this foundation and build something special. This what I would do if I was running the club.

Out: Fellaini, Heitinga, Neville, Anichebe, Hibbert, Naismith
Out of those only Fellaini would be leaving for money making purposes the others would leave because they simply aren't going to take us forward. We could do a lot with the fellaini cash. The possibilities certainly outweigh his value to the team.

IN:
Mbokani: A great all round striker with the potential to shape our next 3 years. He's very good technically, has a lot of energy, and he scores goals. Finishes with either foot and a very capable in the air. Very good player that would do well if given the opportunity. I'm pretty sure he's anxious to prove himself at the top level.

Morrison: a United reject but one they should've never let go. Enough talent to take this team to the next level.with him and Barkley we'd have a nice foundation for a great team.

Fabio; lord knows where we'd be if either of our fullbacks got injured. He might be injury prone but he has a lot quality. Can play on either fullback position. In the summer he'll have one year left on his contract so we could get him on the cheap.

Jedinak; currently plays for crystal palace and since I've said we'd lose fellaini he'd b a great option to replace him with. He's big, strong and is a mmenace to opposition midfield.

Dos santos; he'd be our pienaar on the right hand side. Has obvious quality but has failed to make a big mark on football. If we could get the best out of him wre'd be on to a winner.

Kone: we're gonna need a centre back with distin being old and duffy being so inexpierenced. Was probably Burkina Fassos best player at the african cup of nations. Very good reading of play, good in the tackle, just an all round class centr half.

All these players we could get on the cheap. None of them would cost over 5 million pounds and they all have a huge upside. Exactly what this team needs to move forward.

That isn't a plan for moving forward, it is a bull**** list of Fantasy Manager transfers. I expected a strategy, a 5 year plan incorporating commerical development, spending plans, debt reduction plans, and a transfer policy. I fee let down. You've ruined my evening.

Assuming approx £8m-10m available before any player sales..

Sell :
Fellaini £24m
Heitinga £3m

Buy :
Mertens £12m
Bony £10m
McCarthy £10m

Morrison? Fabio? Jedinak? Dos santos? Really are you serious? These players are mid to low table Premier League standard players. They have done nothing to prove they are good enough for a top 6 side. You sell Fellaini and with these players coming in we will probably get 14th.

You're the sort of lad that thought Gibson wouldn't cut the mustard here arnt you? I mean, the only thing he had proven before coming here was simply not good enough at United. Underperfomance after underperformance to a point where he was solid for a packet of crisps? How's he good enough for a club our size now? Is it magic?

Nope, some players have a lot of quality but due to some factor they are struggling to have an impact on their teams. Some simply don't fit their teams' set up and style of play.

Morrison: one of the biggest talents ever out of United. Rated as the best since scholes. A teamate of his now has banners at Juve and he was better than him when they were at Uniteds youth team. Currently at west ham but won't play much because of our big sam likes his football to be played. You're trying to tell me he isn't good enough for everton? Have you ever seen him play?

Dos santos- over 50 caps for his national team and consistently their best player. Didn't make it at Spurs due to discipline problems and because harry just didn't know how to use him.

Fabio: there was a time when he was benching his twin brother. Considering how good his twin is that should tell you a lot about how much talent he has

Jedinak: I understand the sceptism around this one but since we're gonna be losing a strong physical presence he could certainly come here and do a job.
