It is the club who are being schmucks, why don't they make a decent offer in the first place so there would not be all this uncertainty.

The fact is out club is a cheapskate always trying to do things on the cheap. I know we have little info on the current state of finances at the club but then BK should be more honest.

Whiney face wants a move!

Steven Pienaar belongs to one of those Mormon type organisations that turn pretty much every Saffa into a little crackpot. They get brainwashed into giving 20% of everything they earn to the church and then constantly pressurised by the group to improve on the amount they donate.
I don't want Everton's money lining the pockets of some astute conmen thousands of miles away on the grounds Steven Pienaar want's to buy his way into heaven.
If you ask me we should sell the ungrateful little c**t to the highest bidder. We rescued his career and now he's put in a couple of good performances for the Bafana he's trying to milk us for all we haven't got.
I'd well take £10m for him now if someone put it on the table.

You have no facts, its a [Poor language removed] article in the mail, if what they said was always true, we'd have a completely different squad and probably would have been bought by investors by now. What you have written is possibly the biggest collection of [Poor language removed] I've ever read in one paragraph.

Pienaar hasn't said anything about leaving to be honest.

why Don't like his attitude? I find that one strange to be honest. He's our hardest working player aswell as our most creative.

Did he flash his cobra to your missus or something?

I state an opinion on a player I intensely dislike for whatever reason,
I'm not stopping you stating an opposing opinion on the matter.
The fact of the matter is he was happy to sign a three year deal last year when we rescued him from his bundesliga nightmare. Now only a year later after a few good performances he want's improved terms despite there still being 2 years left on his contract. Forgive me for getting angry when players get away with this. I can't go to my phone company after 8 months of a 24 month contract demanding improved terms.

Sky Sports | Football News | Premier League | Everton | Pienaar turns down deal

South African international Steven Pienaar has snubbed Everton's initial offer of a new contract, skysports.com understands.
The creative midfielder has impressed hugely for David Moyes' side since arriving from Borussia Dortmund

in 2007.
Initially on loan, Pienaar

was snapped up by Moyes

on a permanent deal the following summer.
Now, with two years left on his current contract, Everton are keen to tie down the former Ajax star to a long-term deal.
However, Everton's opening offer to the 27-year-old has been shunned by Pienaar and his representatives.
News of Pienaar's decision to shun a new deal has alerted a number of clubs, including Atletico Madrid,

although talks are continuing between the player and Everton.

Don't rate him as highly as some on here. Very impressive first season - the most of last year though, he was just a fashionable James McFadden.

no way!! he was boss and this year he will improve far more. him and baines on the left supplied a huge amount of attacks.

the reason this club is such a great club is that we wont be held to ransome by any 1 individual .
everyone at every level is here for the same and the right reasons ............ we love the club.

collectively we take the knocks and the glory becouse we all have the same agenda ........ we love the club , we want success , we dont like to see each other suffer.

any person at the club who has a different agenda or a different motivation isnt wanted.
if a player feels the grass is greener else where , then he can move on , wont be missed and would be easily replaced with a new more worthy potential goodison hero.

if these 'rumours' are true , my advice to pienaar and lescott would be ...... be careful what you ask for , you just might get it !

both players have done well here , are liked by the fans and still have a job to complete - theres motivation enough to know there potential greatness and chance to make a mark in history is here at efc and its 'real'.

or they can just move on and chase fairy tales that more often than not end in nightmares and regret.

For 3/4 of last season, either was Pienaar.

The lad looked a shadow of what he shown the year previous when he was definitely our most creative.

tbh after arteta got injured he really looked the part as the creative force. his one man show at sunderland was immense.

Theres a difference between opinion and making untrue/unproven statements about a player

If you are trying to tell me he doesn't belong to an organisation to which he has to donate a large percentage of his earnings to then you are a mug.

If you are trying to tell me that he isn't asking for improved terms, with other teams interested in him after a few recent impressive performances then you are a c**t.

Those were the two statements I made, I stand by my opinion that we should sell the mercenary.

Pienaar and Lescott...we dont need them. We laugh at losing core players. Ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!! Raus Judas'ssssss.

Can't say I agree with that to be honest, he had a tough first half of the season but improved alot when Arteta moved centrally and when Arteta got injured.

And he was definitely our most creative player last season - the majority coming from open play. Just shows his worth to be honest, he's got to be one of the most creative players in European football.
