I do think there'll be drop in merchandise sales, but that the club will just say it's because the fans are all scruffs with no money. Everything is our fault, always.

It's not small time. The club belongs to the fans. How many times have we heard that the club is bigger than any player, any manager and any chairman. Just because Nike and Kitbag say an easier crest is easier to reproduce, shouldn't mean we have to put up with that Mr McGoo effort. The club will be scrambling to reduce the negative effects of this, so why not push things further.

I was merely saying what actions would be appropriate to 'something major'.

There is no need to picket anything; just don't buy the merchandise. Any of it.

Contrary to what somebody has just said earlier in the thread, I won't be buying the kit or anything with that badge on. No chance.

What this thread does show is the depth of feeling about this issue, but it isn't the direction to go. Hit them in the pocket IMO.

There hasn't been a year where I haven't bought at least the home kit. Most years I buy home and away, the third or some training gear.

I'll not be buying anything that has that new badge on.

They won't change it, damage done now by the bunch of idiots, there will be a huge drop in sales imo, hopefully leading to this badge only being used for this 1 season.
