it might be the way we`re playing, the second half of portsmouth everyone one of our players were defending in our half. i dont think neville would of stood there and let that happen.

i like neville and its just a maybe.

Do one mate.

It's a bit harsh giving an infraction for that. Fair do's he was a tad oyt of line, he may apologies.

i think Kb just thought he was on a wind up. Much worse gets said in every thread. If it was [Poor language removed] off or somthing then fair.

But "Do one".....

Stop being little hitlers........

I've had them for less

To be fair Kb has apoligised and it's forgotten about. I can understand his thinking though as it was my first thread and no-one had ever heard of me.(y)

Forget phil neville in our side, the only reason we didnt concede against portsmouth was cause luck was on our side. As for 4 games, its just a combination of luck and coincidence, and good play from the team of course but that happened when nev was got the team too.

Everton's life President Sir Phillip Carter is lamenting the loss of captain Phil Neville.

"Phil Neville is absolutely essential as far as the team is concerned,” he said. “It’s not just his ability on the field, it’s his influence in the dressing room, his direction.

“When you see him now he is so anxious to get back and if you see him up at Finch Farm he is still talking to the youngsters, telling him what they need to do and helping them along. He’s still there on the line and at the game the other night he was there with his family."

Carter also went to say that he had never seen such a lengthy injury list in his time at the club.

He said: “The number of injured players we have is quite phenomenal. I can’t remember anything like it in my time at Everton. To have so many players on the injured list, and not just minor injuries, is incredible.

“The main problem as I see it of course is that it has really taken the heart out of our team.

“It’s all very well to say we have a squad, but when we saw the game the other night we had some boys out. It was difficult all round. What we need are some experienced players back – that would give more heart to everybody.”

Wasn't he only brought back because we didn't have enough directors for a meeting?
Perhaps it's time we had some young input on the board.

It's not just his performances though. We miss his whinging and organising.

We really missed him against Spurs mid-week, Jack needs someone next to him, and talking to him...Pip might not be the most talented or gifted player in the Prem, but he is a good captain, and he can make other players raise their game and regain focus during a match.

We really miss him at the mo
