I've always been a massive Jags fan, been a great servant to the club and turned out some solid performances over the years. But this has to stop. Don't do a Wenger and overstay your welcome please. Not good enough for this level anymore, no disgrace in that, but I would much like to never see him in an Everton shirt again.

I don't want Jags in the team one bit, and I want him to announce that he is handing Coleman the armband effective immediately. Having said that, any fan suggesting that a red card was the right decision is an absolute embarrassment to this club.

The ball was won clearly, and it was won first. The red card can't have been given for denying a goal scoring opportunity because the ball was ten yards further up the pitch by the time Jota went down.

The red card also couldn't have been given for a reckless tackle because he was completely in control at all time. He didn't leave the ground, he didn't go in with two feet and he didn't attempt to lunge into a tackle that was beyond his range.

I want Jags out of the team as much as anyone but for Gods sake, don't let some ridiculous agenda get in the way of a dreadful refereeing error.

Very easy to knock the lad; seen his best days a few years back in my book. Putting that aside, if that challenge is a red and the great and the good day it was. So be it.

I’ll just ask for consistency. Rojo at Goodison, Barkley in the Derby, Suarez v Mirralles and vice versa, the Greek kid v Fellaini, Kuyt v Neville. I’ve heard loads chirp on it was a red; alright - do that consistently now.

You won’t get any consistency. Remember Niasse suspension for diving? Only suspension of the entire season for that.

Being honest he is probably 3 years past it but Williams being here has made him look better than he was. I would have no problem with him going on loan to Sheff Utd and he can play for them instead of being a bit part for us.

Been a great player for us and sad to see him like he is now.

I actually feel sympathy for Jags. Sad to see his career whimper out like this. Entirely not his fault he's being called upon by us as his legs go.

At least Jags can hold his head up high and say he gives his best. People being vicious towards him have a lot more to be embarrassed about.
