Ask yourself- would the ref have given a red card if he hadn’t suspected it to be a goal scoring opportunity? Never in a million years. He probably wouldn’t have been carded had it been a neutral ground. Yellow is fair for the low-high boot.

Get his locker cleared at FF overnight.
I have come to the conclusion that while yes, the red was harsh, the lads time has gotta be up - he should’ve dealt with the ball better in the first place and not created the situation.

It could have been red for putting his studs into the man’s ankle. Not malicious but I can see the argument for it. Giving it for DOGSO was a joke.

Simple slow moving ball to his feet and he makes the situation a crisis...THE CAPTAIN.

If he starts another game it'll underline this club is lost in the wilderness.

Anyone thinking that was Jags' Everton swansong could be in for a nasty surprise.

We've signed a player with no Prem experience who may not immediately be all that and a once promising defender who again has a bit to prove after a bad injury. I'm very optimistic about Mina and Zouma but let's not assume it's can only be a success. Remember the early optimism around Keane?

Surely when Mina and Zouma are match ready cant see him near the first 11.

C'mon dave, he helped keep a clean sheet and we conceded as soon as he went off..

Being serious though i agree, that was appalling mis controlling the ball right there and gifting them back into the match.

If that happened in the last minute after he'd been running around for 89 minutes I might think ok his legs have gone.

But to happen in the game when it did, is just another nail in his coffin. He's done.
