About 5 years too late, but during his prime he was a great player. Good luck.

Showed that before Zouma and Mina we have recruited horribly at centreback post Moyes. He was in his prime 10 years past his prime, post cruciate ligament injury and at times a 34 year old Jagielka was still our best centreback.

Had huge time for Jags, peak there weren’t many better in the PL.

What I admire the most is his loyalty though, at the peak of his powers he could have binned us for Arsenal. He didn’t.
