Can't see us getting one tbh

F*cking outrageous that was.

Stone wall (is that the term?) penalty v Cardiff. That it was not given tells a loud story and us Everton fans have just got to live with a less than level playing field. It happens in everyday life, it happens in football...case closed.

penalties are great, but I'd rather score a 30 yard screamer rifled into the top corner, like Coleman's at Swansea

just feels more sincere

true, but we could be sitting 4 points better off with ones vs spurs and cardiff, and who knows what about city away. we could have been 2-1 up instead of 2-1 down at HT.

We rarely get into the box to get penalties tbh. Yesterday for example, all of our efforts came from outside of the box.

On other occasions our players are too honest and would rather stay on their feet and screw a shot wide due to being off balance.

Roberto needs to instill come of that Spanish playacting* into them if it means getting us into the top four.

*not cheating, but taking advantage of fouls to ensure referees make the right decisions

In the States we would call this "drawing a foul", which is a term from basketball. Certain players in that sport know how to draw the contact and get the foul. Same thing can be done in footy. Barkley is especially good at it, and he will only get better, and learn better how to do it in the penalty area.

On the subject of penalties, could u imagine if instead of Proberk on Boxing day and it was Clattenberg sending Howard off and giving Sunderland a pen, all hell would of broke loose at Goodison, thats why he shouldnt be in charge tomorrow.

(i know his name is Probert)

very true, there'd be mayhem.but i'd like to think the fans would recognize there was no doubt it was a penalty,or are we so biased and blind...............personally think he'll be more nervous than anyone against Saints
