Neville, what's your thoughts on replacing Ronaldo and Tevez with Valencia and Owen????!!!!

Valencia looks good, but playing in front of 18,000 at the JJB in the 'big game' against Bolton is a world away from the thick end of 80,000 at OT against Milan/Juventus/Barca etc etc. Owen: I'm sorry mate but that one is the most bizarre signing in recent years if it comes off. The upside is that it'll piss a good few Kopites off!!!

I can only think that Ferguson is keeping his powder dry for now. Though I'd be concerned if I were you that this isn't seen by the Glaziers as a summer they can get away with pruning.

Evening Davek

Ronaldo wanted to go we had no option

Tevez for all the protestations of loyalty is controlled by his agent and is going for big money at Citeh

Fegrgie has got money to spend mate but all the big name foreigners want to play for Madrid **** em I say

I will still be on the Stretford end shouting for lads who want to play for us. Fergie has a plan mate I trust in him got egg on my face in the past ****ging him off ( Thank **** for Mark Robins)

Anyway all I want next year is number 19 anything else is a bonus

Number 19 for obvious reasons

And Everton to finish in the top 4 to see off Citeh(y)

Off topic, but i feel the top four will be the usual contenders with United winning the title, Chelsea 2nd, Livershit 3rd and Arsenal 4th. Once again, i feel we will finish between 5th and 6th but ahead of Man City who will need at least 6 months to gel with all these big money individual players who will need to learn to play as a team.

Though I think 50k/week on a striker who will most likely blow out his groin/knee by game 2 makes no sense for a squad like our depthless squad, its a drop in the bucket for a team like united. Even though its only a slight possibilty, I can't tell you how much it would warm my heart to watch him that at Anafield and kiss the Utd badge (of scoring; not kissing the badge).

Plus in Owen's defense, every outfield player loses the plot once they put on the NUFC shirt. The only player in recent memory who's career didn't go to s@#% signing for NUFC was Nobby Solano. Even Titus Bramble and Boumsong have had career resurrections so I guess he could too.

Fergies been eyeing Valencia up for 2 seasons and he'll probably add somethng ronaldo lost... Effort and team work.

As for owen... He's a goal scorer who's free. United, unlike us, won't car about his wages and will try to keep him fit. He's played in big games and could change games when brought on. As for the England front... That united shirt will get him a ticket to the raffle straight away

He'll be a capable squad filler

Absolutely spot on wise words mate you talk sense unlike some of our lot at the moment

SSN done some comparison on Valencia and Ronaldo.

Ronaldo obviously won on goals, but Valencia had the best Crossing accuracy and Dribbling success..in my opinion the most important qualities of a winger.

Rooney will come in to his own next season, and have his best season yet, nailed on. You heard it here first (y)

I've been saying that for a while (y):P

Not to anyone in particular mind

Valencia is the real deal, I've been a fan of his for a long time and always thought that he could have solved our problem on the right. I like Fellani and he's going to have a nice career with us but I would have spent the 15M on Valencia however with my savings account was I was just 14.99999999M short.

If you plan on playing him at striker b/c of lack of players you are setting him up to fail big time.

On 2nd thought, please god play him at striker. We'll be happy to take him off your hands in 2012 for 5M.

Valencia's pass completion is higher than Ronaldo's, infact every area was close but mostly, Valencia came out on top. What Valencia lacked in comparison to Ronaldo was the goalscoring record. I cant see Valencia scoring the amounts Ronaldo did at Old Trafford, but he will score a lot more than he did at the JJB. Valencia is a superb signing and will contribute enormously towards United's title challenge and he will net around 15 league goals this coming season along with supplying many goals for the top class strikers Ferguson will bring in during the summer months.

He's a classy hard working out and out winger. I don't think united have had one of those since giggs. Ronaldo has a season or so doing that before he started to play all over the front of the park as a striker mostly. I can't remember seeing swan ron hitting a cross into the box for 2 seasons

Too true mate.

Unless you actually say "Nailed on, heard it here first", it doesn't actually count unfortunately count mate. Sorry!! :P

I'll nail you you (insert appropriate insult here)(y)

Fight to the death I reckon. Right here, right now:o

Nailed on, you heard it here first
