Another way at looking at GP. What was my worst moment ?

I was standing in GSE right behind the goal. It was the match against Inter Milan in the European Cup Roy Vernon rose and headed the cross in for a goal. Yes Vernon headed it. We were all jumping for joy then the ref disallowed it and gave a free kick to Inter.

It came out much, much later that this ref was corrupt and had been accepting back handers for such decisions, one of which was Vernon's goal.

How long have you got. Such rich pickings, my absolute worst memory is an obscure one. Long before Sky destroyed modern footy, you could watch our away games on a massive screen at goodison, you sat in the Park End and the game played, it was a weird atmosphere and the game was even weirder.
