Newcastle are the dodgiest team for transfers. The reason why they sign so many players for cheap and they happen to be french is that they are playing the agent game. For example Cabaye may cost 12 million from an approach to his club, but if you go to his agent he gets the player to move at a reduced cost and pockets some of the difference in transfer value from Mike Ashely to his pocket. Newcastle save money and get their player whilst the agent waits for the next time he can pocket.

Why else are the players all bloody french? I am sure some of the agents are either the same or connected to each other. Fair play to them though, i honestly believe they have a squad, minus a couple of players capable of competing for the champs league. Their only weakness is Pardew.
