Yeah true. In that case they'd have to sell Cech, they can't keep sending Courtois out on loan. I think Chelsea bought Courtois at the wrong time, when they didn't really need him. Probably just bought him so no one else could have him. Either way, the scout that spotted him is a genius

Cech could keep going until he's 37/38 I think.

No, but it helps their attacking issues.

One guy isn't going to solve all issues, they have 5-6 glaring holes in their squad. If Mata helps them retain the ball a bit, it puts less pressure on their defense and midfield.

Whats all this 'offer for Mata through a third party' nonsense? Is someone buying him for United, or are they keeping Moyes and the CEO out of the dealings, or what? I thought he had 100 million transfer kitty? Is it not Uniteds money? Whats going on ?

If I was Moyes I'd try and swap Kagawa for Hummels. If they can bring in a creative player to replace Shinji (Mata) then they could afford to sacrifice him to bring in a defender.

There are rumours that United have moved for Dante from Bayern too, so the Chelsea winger might not be their only target anyway.

good idea except hummels is way better and will cost way more than kagawa.

It all depends on RVP and Rooney both staying fit between now and the end of the season

If they do then they have a great chance
