Proper levy move, thought he’d been binned.Hijacked by Spurs apparently.
No Idea if this is good for us or not but considering our injury issues it would be good to get some bodies in.
Think he’ll do a job for yas.

Both Gallagher and RLC had (separate) loan seasons with us. RLC was terrific, definitely a step up in class. Gallagher started like a whirlwind but faded after Christmas. We made enquiries for him this time apparently but we wouldn't have paid anything like what Spurs have paid.Never really got the Gallagher hype. I feel like Chelsea are the new United, in that anyone who comes through their youth setup is always assumed to be a great player, but many aren't. Similar with RLC, though he's gone on to have a decent career tbf.

Remember Gallagher scoring a beauty against us a few yrs ago v Palace. Both Gallagher and RLC had (separate) loan seasons with us. RLC was terrific, definitely a step up in class. Think he’s a good player, but imagine to take him off villa Spurs are now paying mad money
You hope so, but if Spurs have got it wrong (again) it’s another very very expensive player on the books because they’ve panicked (again).Villa were obviously very interested in getting him in if the right deal could be done (loan plus option to buy) but it wasn't an absolute priority as we're pretty well stocked in midfield - he would have been a 'nice to have' signing if that makes sense. However, Spurs are now in dire need of midfield reinforcements so came in with a permanent deal for both player (5 year contract) and bigger fee for Atletico (with a big wedge of it upfront).....can't blame the player or selling club for taking the best deal for them, or Spurs who've addressed a hole in their midfield.
I was right behind the goal. It was a real blammo after Seamus messed up a free kick iirc.Remember Gallagher scoring a beauty against us a few yrs ago v Palace.
