It was the part I highlighted where you said he was seriously pissed off when he didn't leave. Clearly he wasn't and isn't. His performances have improved if anything plus he has retained the captaincy and the club and various pundits have remarked about how well he has reacted.He is an absolute top professional and yes, we may let him go for free but he helped us win two trophies. For us, that's worth more than money. There is no evidence whatsoever for your assertion. I'm a Palace season ticket as well.

I've heard he was that angry at not being allowed to sign for the rs, that out of complete spite to the Palace board he is signing for Everton in a cut price 500k deal on the 29th Jan!

He'd never get in the side with his terrible attitude plus Tarks and Keano in front of him. He'll sign a new deal and we'll loan him to Tranmere.

The fact that he has continued to perform to a high level is testimony to his attitude and professionalism (as I've already alluded to elsewhere in the thread). Your assertion that 'clearly he wasn't' pissed off is only your opinion, as the opposite was mine (based on what I was told by someone with closer links to Palace than me). We'll agree to disagree.....

Your mate and his son say he was pissed off. Everyone else in football ( not "only my opinion")says he wasn't. Happy to agree to disagree.👍
