But yes, you can walk right off the pitch if it's torn, you can't damage it more and you can certainly walk, just not run, jump or turn with any speed.

Sorry to lose him, I guess that at least he's on loan and we aren't stuck with an injured player for the next 3 years. Where has that happened before?
