Just watched the modern pentathlon horse dancing again. It really does show you why you need to be in total control of your animal. It takes a great level of skill.

That last Itallian was phenomenal. What a performance and comeback! Shame as team GB had a great run leading into the final runners. Some great performances thus olympics. That WR 400n hurdles runner was insane. Imagine breaking both records for your race and getting a silver because you had the misfortune to be against a potential GOAT in the event. The GB sailing team pulled out some great results too

We’re good at sport as a union, but at the end of the day suck hugely at the things that matter at the end of the day, with the main one being controlling a virus.

Give me that over winning medals any day, it’s all very well and good saying things like “This is something nice for us to celebrate and be happy about after the way Covid has infected our island, especially after the “Plague Island” schadenfreude we suffered”, but would you trade it all in to get back to how things used to be?, I certainly would and I’d do it in a heartbeat.

Just look how keen the evil MSM were to resume their doomingering as soon as England got knocked out of Euro 2020; they’d do the same even if they won.

…he was so impressive winning his semi-final & that punch in the first round to put his opponent down was a stunner. I’m no boxing fan but he looks a class act.

Tom Daley gets a bronze. Great performance. Never had a chance against the two Chinese guys though who were so so good. 4th medal for Daley
