I've been on here for almost 10 years. I am not missing anything. He is a complete bore. If he was trying to be funny it would be some of the worst comedy ever

I know you've been here longer than I have. I still think that you're missing the point.

That's not a judgment or a criticism. There are first-rate comedians that I don't find funny. Humor is a matter of taste.

I read the COVID thread very regularly.

I'm not 100% that he's in on the joke. I think he is. I think that's why he crosses the line as often as he does, and as hard as he does. It's possible that I get the joke because I'm an American, and saw Stephen Colbert win Emmys doing much the same on Comedy Central.

Please don't compare him to Colbert. I'm a huge fan of his, Jon Stewart, John Oliver. Most British comedy is based on sarcasm and satire. Anyway, we are way off topic. My point was people should stay out of this thread if all they are going to do is be negative and snarky.

Agreed that we should stop derailing.

I think that we should be positive about Olympic athletes. I think we should be passionately negative about the commercials and the IOC.
